Vividmoo Litter requires clumping litter, preferably high-quality clay-based or silica gel litter beads. Plant-based litters may work but require more frequent cleaning. Litters that don't work include non-clumping, newspaper-based, and absorbent wood pellet litter.

Cats are naturally curious and will investigate new objects. If your cat is already used to a covered litter electric-box, they may adapt more quickly to the Litter. To help your cat acclimate:

*****Add a cup of litter from the old box to the clean litter in the Litter-electric for a familiar scent.

For the vividmoo self-cleaning litter box, we recommend up to 7 indoor cats per unit. One cat requires emptying the drawer once per week, two cats twice per week, three cats every other day, and so on. The litter box has an enlarged waste drawer for more capacity, reducing the frequency of emptying. The Litter-box cycles 7 minutes after each use, but if another cat enters during the wait time, the timer resets for another 7 minutes, potentially extending the time waste is in the litter. If there are too many cats per unit, the litter bed may need to be cleaned before subsequent use.

It depends on the number and size of your cats. It features an enlarged waste drawer, so you may only need to empty it once every week per cat sufficient; two cats twice per week, three cats every other day. And so on.

It is equipped with weight sensor technology that detects your cat's presence every time it enters or re-enters the box. This technology resets the countdown timer, ensuring that the clean cycle does not start for another 1 minute to provide a safe and uninterrupted experience for your cat. 

We recommend placing your vividmoo self-cleaning litter box near your cat's old litter box initially. Once your cat consistently uses the self-cleaning litter box, you can remove the old one. The placement of the vividmoo litter box is flexible, but we recommend putting it on a firm surface. If you place it on a carpet or use a rug/mat underneath, the cat sensor may become less sensitive over time, which could affect its ability to detect when your cat has entered or exited the unit.

To fill the globe, add litter until it reaches the raised fill line on the black rubber globe liner when spread flat. This is approximately 8-10 pounds of litter (3.6-4.5 kg) by weight or 1 gallon (4L) by volume. Avoid overfilling the globe as the waste clumps are removed during each cycle, eliminating the need for excessive litter.
